MORAL VALUES
Forgiveness
In order to receive forgiveness for our sins, we need to forgive others. Forgiving others allows us to overcome feelings of anger, bitterness, or revenge.Forgiveness is defined as letting go of past grudges or lingering anger against a person or persons. When you are mad at someone but you then accept his apology and are no longer mad, this is an example of forgiveness. ... The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
IMPACT OF THE STORY 'SINIGANG'
AS A 21ST CENTURY LEARNER
As a 21st Century Learner, the short story Sinigang left a huge impact on me. Life is not full of happy endings. But, it is our choice on how we will face the obstacles of life. Keep in mind the quote of Professor Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series. “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
